awesome instagram accounts

awesome instagram accountsI’ve been promising a new InstaAddict post to people writing in and asking about it for awhile now, but have been having so much trouble categorizing accounts like I did for my Momma and Healthy Living posts.

Finally it dawned on me that I don’t have to put people into tiny boxes. Sometimes a fab DIY blogger has an account that focuses an awful lot on her cute kid. Other times a prop stylist or a designer will give some peeks into what her life is like. I’ve found that my favorite accounts are the ones that are all over the board. They don’t comfortably fit into any one category. And why try to make them?

So instead, I’ve pulled together a few that my inner people watcher adores…

favorite instagram accounts: amandajanejones@amandajanejones

favorite instagram accounts: parscaeli

@parscaeli

favorite instagram accounts: properpinwheel

@properpinwheel

favorite instagram accounts: roociambriello

@roociambriello

favorite instagram accounts: inhonorofdesign

@inhonorofdesign

favorite instagram accounts: designmom

@designmom

favorite instagram accounts: thedoeorthedeer

@jessyoungsma

favorite instagram accounts: younghouselove

@younghouselove

favorite instagram accounts: julieannart

@julieannart

favorite instagram accounts: justinablakeney

@justinablakeney

From pretty pictures to a peephole into someone’s life, these accounts always do it for me. They’re like sitting at an outdoor cafe watching so many different personalities and lives walk by.

What do you guys think of the non-categorized idea? Are you into it? Or would you rather have it broken down more?

Also if there are any awesome Instagram accounts that you follow, don’t keep it them yourself! Tell us in the comments!

Jen is a freelance writer and girl mom from New York. When she's not knee-deep in glittery crafts and girl talk, you can probably find her sprawled across her couch in the middle of a Netflix marathon with dark chocolate smeared on her face. The struggle is real.
