Looking through my closet this weekend I came to an earth-shattering realization (brace yourself): out of all of the cardigans I own, only one of them doesn’t fall into the category of black, gray or navy. Is your mind as blown as mine?
Seriously though, as someone who wears cardigans year round (air conditioned restaurants and stores can be freezing in the summer!), I couldn’t believe I don’t own anything more fun (am I really that boring?!).
I want bright colors and patterns and options other than tried and true neutrals. So, of course, I had to do a little online window shopping:
top row: cobalt, stripe, coral / middle: pink, plaid, neon pop
bottom: rust, tie dye, bright blue
I can’t decide which is my favorite (maybe the middle one). I’m thinking I have to add at least one patterned cardigan and two or three bright pops of color. I’m loving that bright blue in the bottom row and I’m thinking maybe some pink/coral and a pop of yellow (only if I can find one where the yellow isn’t so close to my face. It completely washes me out).

These are great! I love the one on the top row-middle, and the middle row-right. I wear cardigans year-round too, especially here in la where there’s always a little sea breeze.
Either the orange or electric blue are my favourite. I totally understand your love of cardigans. I feel the cold relentlessly so always need a long sleeve with me – even in summer. I just realised all of mine are black except one green one. Hmmm – may be time to update. Thanks for the inspiration.

I love the peachy orange one on the top right corner…Its simple ,fresh , feminine and would look awesome on a simple dress on a date night…Long sleeves also hide the goosebumps…
I’m also guilty of this – the majority of my cardigans are black or gray. I love your selections – especially the tie dye one!
