I’m one of those people who loves lists and notebooks and organizational bins and systems but who is perpetually late and scattered and unprepared.
I don’t get it either.
Either way, it shouldn’t be surprising that I’m also one of those people who loves the idea of fresh starts and clean slates and setting goals to get distracted from.
Last year, instead of making a list of resolutions that I would inevitably forget by mid-January, I decided to set a major goal for myself each month. This worked like a charm until I realized we would be moving and all of my energy and efforts went into that and all other goals fell away.
Still, I feel like it was a good system for me. I could decide on a goal at the beginning of the month and make myself a list of to-dos to get there with minimal frustration.
I’ve also decided to leave all of the negatives behind me and to focus on the positive and a fresh start. To keep me (and you) in that empowered, can-do state of mind, I hit up Etsy to put together a collection of handmade goodness (plus a vintage find) that fits right in with the idea.
And honestly, what’s more inspiring than someone taking something they’re passionate about and running with it to start their own small business?
