This post is in partnership with Minted. All gushing (and stray drops of drool) are my own.
Usually when I think of Minted, I think of insanely beautiful invitations and cards.
You know when you’re going through a stack of Christmas cards and one feels so luxurious in your hand that you have to touch it for a little longer than necessary? That can’t be just me, right? Or the ones with designs that kind of make you want to frame them and hang them up on your wall… even if someone else’s family will be staring back at you? Yeah, well those are usually from Minted. And I’m a total sucker for them.
What I didn’t realize is that Minted also offers a variety of holiday gifts and decor that are just as drool worthy. Let’s take a little peek together…
Who knew tree skirts could be so stinking beautiful? Yes, I’ve seen cute ones before. But these are some other level awesome without looking like someone had a little too much egg nog and vomited pent up holiday spirit under your tree. The graphic prints on these beauties are subtly festive and they get major bonus points for being reversible (kind of like dresses with pockets).
While we’re talking subtly festive, can we just take a second to love on their felt garland? I love that this one mixes different shades of red with neutrals. It soft and simple and would look so pretty nestled with twinkle lights and combined with more texture.
I’m also more than a little obsessed with these kelly green geometric snowflake ornaments. The gorgeous design caught my eye at first and then when I saw that they’re paper ornaments, I was seriously intrigued. How on earth would that work with kids? Well these pretties are printed on unbendable, luxe matte coated paperboard. Very, very cool. Also cool? It’s only $6 for a set of 3!
OK, let’s move on to gifts…
If there’s a couple on your gift list who met somewhere special (like say in the heart of New York City at Fordham University…) or fell in love in a particular city, what better gift could you give than a gorgeously illustrated map of that city? I can’t tell you how much this sentimental girl loves that idea! Also incredibly sweet: getting your significant other your wedding vows as an art print. Swoon.
Have a tween on your list that you’re really struggling to figure out? While makeup might not be cool with her parents and her taste in just about anything is constantly changing, cool stationery sends a You’re in the Big Girl Club message that girls at this age absolutely crave. Bonus points will definitely be awarded for personalization and a creative use of hashtags.
Are you staying with family for the holidays? Or are there friends who open their home to you regularly? A gorgeous napkin set is a nice way to say thank you. I love that these aren’t too matchy-matchy and that they’re so different from your typical fancy napkin set. Include a beloved recipe for a personal touch and you’ll definitely be their favorite house guest ever.
