I’m cold. The I-can’t-walk-around-in-my-bare-feet-and-get-them-all-filthy-and-disgust-my-husband-with-them-anymore kind of cold. And that’s a total bummer.

While I don’t even want to think of the “W” word or the dreaded snow that comes with it (I’ll grasp at the last colorful leaves that are still clinging to the trees, thank you very much), I’m coming around to the idea of steaming cups of tea and hot cocoa and cozy, cozy cool weather accessories.

If you ask me, things that are handmade are cozier. They just are. A scarf that was lovingly knit on someone’s living room couch while they watched a Breaking Bad marathon and munched on popcorn is a billion times cozier than something mass produced by a machine in a cold, dirty factory somewhere. Real talk, people.

Here’s my lineup of fab handmade coziness. Can you tell I have a scarf problem?

I feel warmer already, don’t you?

Also, just as an FYI, my holiday gift guide posts are starting up next week. I know, I know. We’re not even past Halloween, wah wah wah. I agree with you. It seems early. But November starts next week and I’m thinking that if I can get my butt in gear and finish off my spastic holiday shopping madness early, I’ll have more time to actually sit back and enjoy the season. That’s the thought anyway. I’ll let you know how that goes.

Anyway, I’ll be doing gift guides once a week throughout November and then daily once we get to December crunch time. Lots and lots of fun goodness coming your way. That said, while this might not be an official part of my holiday gift guide series, they’re definitely awesome options. Like say, if you were to go shopping for me. How’s that for a not-so-subtle hint?
