June. How we got here so quickly, I’ll never understand.

My little Rosebud is wrapping up her school year. Her sixth birthday is taunting me from its spot two short rows down on my calendar. Summer vacation looms in that same spot and I’m wracking my brain to create an arsenal of options for my girl (who demands constant stimulation).

This weekend I’ll make it my mission to create a summer bucket list of sorts. A few must-do things that will keep my ladies occupied and me from losing my mind.

The first thing on my list is something that finds its way on my list every summer: a picnic. I want the sun on my cheeks, the grass in my toes, and my kids spilling drinks everywhere–though I wouldn’t mind leaving out the bugs that make Samantha shriek, thank you).
