Have I ever mentioned how talented my friends are? I’m fortunate enough to know a lot of incredibly creative, highly talented people. One of those people is my former bodyguard (babysitter?)/chauffeur Sean Dunne. Aside from being the subject of his niece’s favorite knock knock joke, Sean happens to be an all-around good guy and a pretty kick ass director.

Sean’s documentaries The Archive and American Juggalo (among others) have taken the internet by storm and gained tons of critical acclaim. He is a truly gifted storyteller with a real knack for unraveling the layers of interesting characters and examining them unflinchingly from all angles.

Sean’s latest project is a feature documentary about a coal mining town in West Virginia that is being absolutely destroyed by Oxycontin.

To get this project done, Sean and his team need help! Check out the official teaser for Oxyana and consider donating to their project via Kickstarter. If you don’t have any spare change, spread the word to your friends and have them tell their friends!

With a little bit of help, Sean will be able to shed a little light on this deadly issue and force others to take notice.
