OK, OK. I know. I don’t want to think about it yet either. But with November officially here, the holiday season is going to be right on top of us before we can even blink.
I thought I’d start us out slowly and ease into the whole gift guide thing with a round up of ideas for hostess gifts.
It doesn’t have to be the holidays to need one of these gifts. After Sandy there are plenty of East Coasters who are relying on the kindness of others to get by. Once things settle down a bit and life is more normal, any of these gifts would be a perfect thank you to the friends who let you camp out until you had power or the neighbors who helped you clean out your flooded basement.
The truth is, hostess gifts are relevant all year round so don’t let the holiday part of this post stress you out. You have another few weeks before it’s that time. 😉
 1. West Elm twig barware set / 2. Onyx ice pop mold / 3. West Elm dip-dyed kitchen utensils and whisks / 4. Martha Stewart throw / 5. West Elm glass oil and vinegar bottles
6. Anthropologie apron / 7. Burt’s Bees hand repair kit / 8. Anthropologie dish towels
9. Starbucks peppermint hot cocoa mix / 10. West Elm hanging bag planter
The twig barware is a lot of fun. I really love when design mimics nature.
Me too! Especially when it’s done right like this barware! Sometimes it can look cheesy, but I love this one!
love the idea of wrapping wine (my go to gift) in a dish towel – that definitely ups the fun factor!
I love the bar ware and the popsicle molds! I’m so excited for the holidays! Christmas decorations are going up TOMORROW!
Hi, dropping by from SITS Sharefest! Great ideas! Thanks for sharing! So excited for the upcoming holiday season!! We leave the t.v. in our family room tuned to the Sonic Music Holiday channel all day. Can you tell we LOVE Christmas?! Lol
Lol. Love it! We’re going have to start that too!
It’s so saddening to see the destruction from Superstorm Sandy, so these gifts are perfect to give to any host/hostess! I especially find the dip-dyed utensils ultra cute! They’d look great as decoration too 😉 Can’t wait to see what else you’re gonna whip (haha) up next!
Beautiful! Thanks for sharing.
Happy Sharefest. I hope you have a great weekend.
I have never seen anything like #10! Love it. Stopping by from No Rules. Hope to see you at True Aim!
Isn’t it cool?! I totally want one!
What a nice guide to ease into the holiday season 🙂 I’m going to put the Starbuck’s Peppermint Hot Choc on my list this year.
Thanks for sharing with my NO RULES Weekend Blog Party!

Me too! Their peppermint mochas are pretty much my favorite things ever so the peppermint hot chocolate couldn’t possibly be that far behind!
Soooo, I’d like to invite you to my house this holiday season.:)
I’m there. I saw what your Halloween party looked like!
these are great hostess gifts
