#RaiseAHand for Teachers

“No act of kindness, however small, is ever wasted.” —Aesop

In hopes of talking less and doing more when it comes to helping others, I’ve started a series I’m calling Good Samaritan Saturday. On Saturday mornings, I’ll post a little something you can do to start your weekend out with positive vibes by helping to lift someone else up…

#RaiseAHand for Teachers

My favorite fashion resale site, thredUP, has partnered with Adopt A Classroom to recognize and thank teachers for their hard work and the positive impact they make on our babies every single day.

Until tomorrow, August 23, you can nominate your favorite teacher and thank them for their hard work by sharing your favorite moments, photos, and videos. Three teachers will each win $2,500 for classroom supplies and $500 credit to thredUP. 50 runner-up winners will receive $100 to thredUP. You can vote for your favorite teacher through August 30th and the winners will be announced on September 8th.

Teachers do a heck of a lot for our kids (you can see just how much in the infographic below). It’s about time we show them how thankful we are for it, don’t you think?
