In hopes of talking less and doing more when it comes to helping others, I’ve decided to start a series I’m calling Good Samaritan Saturday. Each Saturday morning, I’ll post a little something you can do to start your weekend out with positive vibes by helping to lift someone else up…
As you can maybe kinda sorta tell, I like a good challenge that encourages kindness. So when Jane from Bookroo (a monthly book subscription service for kids that delivers 2-3 new books to your doorstep each month) told me about author Maria Dismondy’s Summer Kindness Contest they’re helping to sponsor, I knew I had to share it with you guys!
Here’s the deal:
1. Print kindness coupons HERE
2. Perform a Random Act of Kindness
3. Snap a picture of the RAK (coupon must be visible in photo)
4. Email photo to info@mariadismondy.com
5. Share your photo on social media with the hashtag #mariadismondybooks
The contest ends on September 6, 2015 at 6 am EST.
There are five different categories available to enter your photo in, with different prize packages for each option. You can enter one photo per category, up to five photos total. They have a bunch of fabulous sponsors involved, including: Sticky Bellies, I’m So Glad Gifts, GoGo Sports Girls, Brad Herzog, Bucket Fillers, Lisa Wheeler, Surprise Ride, Miriam Laundry, Boogie Boards, IPEVO, Deborah Dieson, Jodi McMaster, and Debbie Clement.
